How It Works
- Pass the MCQ first (8/10) to unlock the AIVIA evaluation.
- The AI evaluator leads an interactive Q&A session about the project.
- The focus is on reasoning and comprehension, not memorization.
- All project materials are provided: code, architecture docs, and implementation details.
- Running code is optional—the evaluation assesses your understanding.
This process mirrors real-world engineering: adapting proven solutions, understanding architectural decisions, and explaining trade-offs.
Visibility Settings:
- Set to “Available” → Employers can discover you.
- Set to “Not Available” → Practice privately.
Default vs Custom Evaluations
Context Packs control how the AI evaluates you—including its persona, focus areas, depth, and more.
Default Evaluation (when browsing projects here)
- Uses STEM-Away’s standard Context Pack.
- Provides a balanced assessment for general learning.
Custom Evaluation (from shared links)
- Created by employers or individuals for targeted practice.
- Activated only via specific shared links from AIVIA Opportunities or social media.
- Look for: “Using custom evaluation criteria by [username]” in the AIVIA chat box.
Important: You must use the specific shared link each time to activate a custom evaluation.
