    • Read " Developer’s guide to Discourse Themes"
    • Be familiar more with Ruby and Git
  5. Detailed statement of tasks done:
    • Completed the Ruby minitask
    • Pushing the code to my personal branch
      • Since I was already in the mentorchain organization of github, I don’t have trouble accessing the repository unlike others. Therefore, I will be trying to send invites to others who have trouble accessing it.

    • Technical Area: Learned how to develop themes for Discourse using both local instance and GitHub repository
    • Tools: I have already installed all tools from previous session.
    • Soft Skills: Developed project management skills and team coordination.
  2. Achievement highlights:
    • Invited all teammates to the github repository
    • Completed the theme development tutorial
    • Actively online on slack for solving other’s problems

    • Start developing in the subteam

    • Technical Area: Learned how to develop themes for Discourse on .scss file, and preview the theme in local instance
    • Tools: Use of Trello and Discord
    • Soft Skills: Developed project management skills and team coordination.
  2. Achievement highlights:
    • Sueccessfully developed the 3d pop-out feature for our test theme
    • Learnt the way of designing a theme through manipulating .html and .scss files
    • Actively online on slack for communication
