Comments on the week:

  • We created a weekly social media calendar, but the daily content had a different theme each day based on trending tags such as “mondaymotivation, throwbackthursday” and “flashbackfriday”. This allowed us to have a template for the entire month while keeping in mind the respective theme for the day.
  • Halfway through the week, I realized that recruitment companies should also be included in the target market, since they are responsible for the proposed revenue streams (Week 1) and so, an ad and GTM strategy was made for both the target markets.

  • Marketing Presentation - 8/14

Goals for the Upcoming Week:

  • Send out the customer survey questionnaire
  • Create a Pitch Deck
  • Create an Elevator Pitch

Comments on the week:

  • Since we did not have access to the Google Ads site and had to use the help of our lead to find related keywords and their related data, things got delayed and we did not have the keywords until the last moment. That helped me improvise and breakdown our keyword planning into two categories of “internship” and “specific pathway” - an idea that Stephanie really liked in the weekly presentation. Keywords specific to each pathway could additionally increase traffic to the website apart from the “internship” ones.

Week 5: August 15th - August 23rd

Overview of Things Learned:

Technical Area:

  • Pitch Deck
  • Elevator Pitch

  • Webinar with Zery - 8/21
  • Marketing Talk with Katherine - 8/18
  • Final Presentation - 8/23

Comments on the week:

  • Since there were 3 subteams presenting a pitch deck with almost similar work being done throughout the duration of the project, I wanted to do something different that would make us stand out. I believe a little bit of humour does no harm and so we incorporated the story line of Stem-Away being a “hero” in our pitch deck.
  • I also had the idea of including a “meet our team” slide in our presentation to talk about the subteam members involved in the course of the project, which was further appreciated by Stephanie in the final presentation.
