**Week 3:** **Technical Area:** - I sent out a couple surveys to friends and family - Created a Slack ad Trello account - Downloaded Quartus - Tried getting used to the Stem-Away website **Tools:** - Slack - Trello - Quartus - Google Drive, Google Meet, and Google Docs - Stem-Away website **Soft Skills:** - Being able to communicate with team members in a remote environment - I reached out to my group to create a method for communication - Figured out different ways to send out surveys in order to get more responses **Three Achievements:** - Joined meetings - Was able to communicate with a partner using different methods to communicate - Successfully downloaded Quartus - Got a couple responses from the survey **List of Meetings Attended:** - FPGA Training #3 (7/30) - Vaping Intro Meeting (7/30) - VP Team 2 Weekly Meeting (8/3) **Goals:** - Attend all meetings - Communicate with my team and work together **Tasks done:** - I attended the weekly meeting - I installed Quartus using the instructions. It was a bit confusing but slowly went through the process ---

**Week 6:** **Technical Area:** - Generated a list of suggestions to reduce vaping - Understood the consequences of vaping. **Final Assessment:** **Technical Area:** - Learned many pros and cons of the Halo and Flysense Vaping detector - Understood and researched a variety of suggestions to reduce vaping - Understood the data results showing a mix of high school and college student that have experienced vaping. From data and presentations, vaping is becoming very popular among high school and college students. Vaping companies may be targeting the youth. **Tools:** - G-suite - Slack and Trello - Stem-Away Website - WhatsApp **Soft Skills:** - During this internship communication went very well.
